 Let the powers that be call "we the people a mob, thugs, un-American." Let me tell you.
There is nothing more American then the voice of the people.

The fact is, until recently we thought our government always had what was best in mind for us. We did nothing to check them, we trusted them, we held them in high esteem. We were in for a rude awakening, they did not care, they admit it!
They did not even read the bills brought up before them, they just voted as they were told by their party leaders. Republican and Democrat alike and we let them.
This administration and congress have tried to capitalize on that fact. They insist that they know what is best for us and it appears they will vote as if we did not read this health care bill either.

Not this time, we, unlike our esteemed legislators, read the health care bill's. We, the people, know what their plans are and they are not good. They talk to us as if we did not read the bills and tell us what we want to hear, anything and everything but the truth. We are no longer blissfull, the ignorance is past.
We are now and will continue to protest this Health Care program, it will not cure the problems our health care system has, it will only increase the bureaucracy that overwhelms the system now. As Americans we have the right to make our voices heard and no person can take that away unless we let them, just like we let them vote on bills they never read.

Things are changing now, we are standing up for our rights and the government, who is supposed to be working for us, is now literally fighting us. Home town meetings are being locked down, the real thugs, in the form of unions and profesional protesters,  are starting to show up at the meetings. You can discern them from "we, the people" as they seem to have professionally printed signs and, at times, union lables on their shirts, there is no doubt they will get violent they already have.

Now more than ever we must get up and stand up for our rights, for this we are being called everything but a patriot, all by these same legislators who we voted for. Let me say that again WE VOTED FOR. They work for us!!! I for one, feel violated. Don't the politicians know what is going on in the minds of the people? We must let them know the consequences that will come election day. And it is working! I actually heard a congresswoman admit the people have something to say.

This is all we are asking for:

1.     Make quality health care coverage affordable and accessible for every American, regardless of pre-existing health conditions.

2.     Protect Americans from being forced into a new government-run health care plan that would:

a)     eliminate the health coverage that more than 100 million Americans currently receive through their job;

b)     limit your choice of doctors and medical treatment options; and

c)     result in the federal government taking control of your health care.

3.     Let Americans who like their health care coverage keep it, and give all Americans the freedom to choose the health plan that best meets their needs.

4.     Ensure that medical decisions are made by patients and their doctors, not government bureaucrats.

5.     Improve Americans’ lives through effective prevention, wellness, and disease management programs, while developing new treatments and cures for life-threatening diseases.
